Playtex Secrets Balconette Underwire bra Review

This post brought to you by Playtex for BzzAgent. I received a bra free to try. All opinions are my own.

Several weeks ago I got the opportunity to try a Playtex Secrets Balconette Underwire bra. This really couldn't have come at a better time. I was in desperate need of a new bra since mine had just decided to let the underwire poke out the side.

I apologize for the lack of pictures in this post, but I'm not comfortable posting pictures of myself in a bra and I don't think you get the real idea of how a bra looks and fits without pictures of it on.

The Balconette Underwire bra touts wide-set straps, seamless contoured cups, a hidden underwire and cushioned straps, all of which I found to be true.

I found the straps to be very comfortable due to the cushioning and I liked that the straps were a little wider-set than my other bras which made them easier to hide when worn over some shirts that had wider necklines. I also feel like it helped distribute the weight in a better place so my shoulders didn't get sore.

The one thing I didn't really like was that my chest looked nothing like the model's. I'm not sure if I had the wrong cup size or what, but I had no cleavage to speak of. The bra fit comfortably in both the cups and straps so it felt like the right size, but as far as cleavage goes, there was nothing.

Overall, I would say that it's a good every day, no frills, nothing fancy kind of bra. It's comfortable to work and move in but wouldn't be something I'd necessarily choose to wear under something special.
