2013 Bucket List Update #1

At the beginning of the year I wrote up a bucket list of things I'd like to get done this year. The list only had 10 things on it to start, but I plan on adding/updating when there's something new I think I want to get done this year.

It's only April and I've already gotten a few things done, or at least started. Here's how things are shaping up:

What's in my April 2013 Birchbox

This month Birchbox partnered with Women's Health magazine and the theme is "Tiny tweaks, big results" and focuses on small things you can do/use to get big results.

April 2013 Ipsy/Glam Bag

The theme for this month's Ipsy/Glam Bag is Pretty in Pink. As you can see from the picture above, most of the products have some pink tone to them to fit the theme. Even the bag has a pink stripe across the top.

For the purposes of these posts, starting now and going forward, I'm going to add an extra $1 to the total value of the bag to account for the bag itself having some value. Because it's hard to put a different price on each bag, because some would cost more in stores, are made from different materials, etc., I'm going to assume that each bag could be bought at a dollar store. That's how I came up with adding $1.

What I've learned in 2 Years of Marriage - aka Happy Anniversary

Today is our 2 year wedding anniversary. We've been together a little over 5 years now at this point too. I'd like to sum up most of what I've learned about love, relationships and marriage using quotes/pictures I've found around the Internet (mostly Pinterest and Facebook).
